Bangkok International Implant Symposium and 2nd Asia-Pacific Academy for Implant Dentistry Congress was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 30-11-2010 to 3-12-2010. Dr. Myat Nyan from MDA academic committee was invited as guest speaker. He gave a lecture on "Local application of simvastatin for dental implant treatment and bone regeneration". Keynote and guest speakers from Sweden, USA, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Brasil, Israle, Republic of China, Singapore, Philippine and Myanmar gave exiting lectures in Oral Implantology.
The first CME program in December was held in MDA Hall, Thingangyun Township on 5-12-2010. Associate Professor Dr. Zaw Moe Thein talked on Updated Information and Management on Exposure to HIV Infection. It was co-sponsored by UNICEF. Second CME program was held in Chatrium Hotel on 12-12-2010, co-sponsored by BioSys. Prof. Hla Min talked on "Whitening of the teeth by using rubber dam or gum protector". Third CME talk was held in Panda Hotel on 19-12-2010 co-sponsored by Europ Continents. Dr. Tin Latt discussed on "Orthodontics for general practitioners" and Dr. Zaw Win Tun talked about "Dental Management of obstructive sleep apnemia".
Continuing Medical Education Program for November, 2010 was held on 28th November, 2010 in Sedona Hotel. Dr. Aye Min (USA) talked about "Clinical complications of fixed prosthesis" and Dr. Myat Nyan talked on "How to choose an implant system." It was co-sponsored by Zizawa Healthcare.
