Chairperson of Academic Committee’s message
On behalf of Academic Committee of Myanmar Dental Association, I would like to express my warmest welcome to all participants to this 32nd MD conference and 13th FDI-MDA joint educational meeting 2012. First of all, I would like to pay tribute to all members of MDA that make our profession proud, as well as strengthen our association. Education is the most important raw material for development of all societies. We are making a significant contribution by offering everyone the opportunity through Continuing Dental Education (CDE). Our academic committee has been launched this program throughout the year with the support of famous private dental clinics, medical and dental products distributors. I am most grateful for the generous support of the sponsors for our professional connections. The theme of this year’s conference is “Implants: Envision the future dentistry” which is timely and appropriate. I’m sure all delegates can gain the most updated knowledge regarding the dental implants as well as overall dentistry. We are delighted that many esteemed guests and high level speakers from local and abroad are taking part in this conference. This Conference exceeds our expectations. Never before there have been more than thirty speakers taking part to our conference.
I also encourage you all to take full advantage of this conference. I hope we shall enjoy interesting and fruitful discussions and conversations, gaining and sharing new ideas on our profession and also explore the potential of new technology. At the end of this conference, many of you will see or think of whatever collaborative training and research work you can do with our association.
